I’m thrilled to be joining Marty from A Stroll Thru Life for her annual fall home tour blog hop that she is so kind to organize, and there are so many amazing bloggers participating. If you’re hopping over from The Chronicles of Home, welcome! I’m Erin, and I love to share all things DIY/making and home decor. While I’m not in full-on “fall mode” just yet since it’s still been 80 degrees here in Atlanta, I have started adding some fall touches around the house and will do more in the coming weeks. For today, I thought I would focus on my “mom cave,” aka living room/office, but I’ll also share a couple of peeks at our dining room. (P.S. Be sure to check out the full home tour lineup at the bottom of this post.)

I just finished building a new coffee table, and I’ll share all the details on that very soon. I’ll also add sources below. (The end table and lamp were thrifted.)
DIY Large-Scale Abstract Art / Sofa / Rug / Pillows
The vintage card catalog is one of my favorite pieces in our home. My grandparents “rescued” it from a vacant school building owned by a family friend, and we moved it piece by piece from Indiana to Atlanta, then I restored it. (You can read the whole story here.)
I picked up some cute plastic pumpkins at Target and stuck them in a thrifted dough bowl on top of the coffee table. I typically prefer more modern decor than rustic, but for fall I like to mix the two.
I love succulents for any season.
And here’s a little peek at our dining room. You can check out all the details on the DIY dining table I built here.
I picked up some water hyacinth place mats and pretty plates from IKEA, then used my plastic pumpkins and a little chalkboard place card as decor for this fun fall tablescape. Funny enough, the “napkins” are actually remnants of fabric since I didn’t have any plain white cloth napkins handy.
To see more of my projects, feel free to check out my Project Gallery. Thanks so much for stopping by! Please head over to Nesting with Grace next and check out her tour.

Looks lovely! I adore your card catalog (I’ve been keeping an eye out for one for years with no luck; I’ve about lost hope). And you’re reminding me that I’m overdue for a Target trip to check out their fall/Halloween stuff 🙂
