About the Blog
This blog started as DIY on the Cheap in 2012, and rebranded in 2016 to ErinSpain.com. It focuses on home decorating, DIY, and lifestyle topics. You will find decorating ideas, crafts, and DIY projects ranging from small craft projects to furniture builds and everything in between, as well as occasional travel posts. (Check out the project gallery for links to popular posts!) This blog was founded on the belief that you don’t have to spend a fortune in order to have a beautiful home. I am not a designer—I am learning as I go and sharing my experience with you. My mission is to show you that if I can do these things, SO CAN YOU! I am taking you on this journey with me, and you will be able to see our house slowly become our home.
