Do you know someone who has recently moved into a new home? I’m always looking for fun, affordable housewarming gift ideas, and today I have one to share with you.
As you know, I am the mom of 3 boys, so anything I can do to make our house smell pretty, I am all for. I tried out the new SoftSoap Liquid Foaming Hand Soap, and I’m loving the new scents.
I decided these would be the perfect addition to a housewarming gift basket, because we all need hand soap and we all like things that smell great, right?
I headed to Wal-Mart and purchased all three scents: Kitchen Citrus Bliss, Jasmine and White Cotton, and Whipped Cocoa Butter. You can find these in the Personal Care section in the soap and body wash aisle.
I paired them with some cute little succulent plants and put them in a gift basket. I dressed the succulents up with decorative tissue paper and tied some twine around them.
I added a cute little printable gift tag, which I have made available for download here (for free!). Just download, print and cut out. I used a hole punch on the chimney to stick the twine through.
These soaps are a great product at an affordable price, and you can’t beat that. Bonus: It masks the smell created by a bunch of little boys. Not that I know from experience or anything. 🙂 I also love the bright, vibrant colored designs on the bottles. It’s a pretty (and easy) way to dress up your sink area.
So tell me, which of the new SoftSoap scents would go great on your sink? And what else would you add to a housewarming gift basket?

This is a great idea! It is very useful and pretty! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you Laurie!
Cute housewarming gift idea!! I have three little boys too and they have the Jasmine & White Cotton soap in their bathroom. The smell carries into the hallway, which is great! #client
