I’m so excited to announce a fun challenge that I’m participating in, plus a chance for YOU to win a $100 Home Depot gift card (stay tuned for that at the end of this post).
I’m partnering with BEHR for the #BEHRBox challenge, so they sent me a box of mystery goodies and a gift card to The Home Depot, and I have to make something with some of the items they sent. Whatever I make must fit an assigned theme, and mine is “Reflection.”
Here’s a peek at what came in the box:
And here’s a list of items that I received:
- A $500 gift card to The Home Depot
- Various pieces of Liberty Hardware
- 3 pots of BEHR Marquee paint (The colors are “In the Moment,” “Soft Focus,” and ” Wide Sky.”)
- a small round mirror
- a white fluffy cloth
- a bundle of fabric
- a decorative wall switchplate
- painter’s tape
- Wooster paintbrushes
- a picture frame
- paint stir sticks
- a sanding block
- BEHR 2018 Color Trends sample cards
As for the trends, there are 20 color trends curated for 2018 that will help you find the perfect color for any project you might be planning.
The 2018 Color of the Year is called “In the Moment,” and is a beautiful shade of blue/gray/green. It’s a very soothing shade, hence the appropriate name which reminds you to relax and be in the moment. Here are the 3 colors I received.
Here’s a little video of my unboxing.
Stay tuned to see what I end up making with all of these things! In the meantime, YOU could win a $100 Home Depot gift card.
To enter, simply leave a comment on this blog post using #BEHRBox and tell me what you would make with all of these goodies. The giveaway ends on Oct. 24, and I will be posting my final project reveal and announcing the giveaway winner on Oct. 25!

#BEHRBox I think I would develop wall decor; find another old frame, or two or even more-larger, smaller ; put the smaller one in it; along with the mirror to create a decorative wall collage. Layer the frames, sort of putting one on top of another, asyemetriacally. 3-5 frames or items put together would be nice, depends on the size area needing decor.

A few years ago my family decided to surprise me with a newly painted master bath ( I was away on a trip ). I came home to a half way painted brown master bath. So I would finally and completely paint my master bath and put down flooring over the linoleum. Thanks!
