Eye Candy & Upcoming Link Party

I have more eye candy for you today, which we will get to in a minute. First I want to announce something I am very excited about! Starting this weekend, I will be hosting a “Saturday Project Swap” link party!

What does this mean? For Non-bloggers, it means on weekends there will be a list of links to new blogs that you can check out along with their latest creative projects.

For bloggers, this is an opportunity for you to promote your blog (for free!) and show off some of your latest projects. This is an “anything goes” type of link party, so it will be for any type of project that you want to share, and you can share as many as you want! Arts and crafts, home decor, renovations, room makeovers, furniture transformations, Before & Afters, etc. If you made/designed/transformed/decorated it, we want to see it. Be on the lookout this coming Saturday for more info and the chance to link up your project. I will be choosing a few of my favorites to feature the following weekend. Please spread the word, and I look forward to checking out some new blogs and seeing some great projects!

Southern Living

Spring is in bloom at my house big time, and I absolutely love it. This is my favorite time of year (it used to be summer when I lived up North, but now that I’m an adopted Southerner, springtime is best). Flowers everywhere, leaves reappearing on trees, beautiful colors everywhere you look. And it smells great too! Now if I could only get rid of that yellow blanket of pollen covering everything. The driveway, patio, front porch, back porch, cars, etc. — they’re all yellow! But with the chalky yellow dust comes pretty flowers and spring weather, so maybe it’s a fair trade. The weather has been beautiful this week and I’ve enjoyed playing outside and blowing bubbles with my boys. Hope you are all enjoying spring weather where you are too!
