I am so excited to introduce a fun little “Home for the Holidays” design challenge that I am participating in. Del Mar Fans has challenged me (along with some other bloggers) to create a beautiful, welcoming holiday indoor entryway.
I will be incorporating this Feiss Modello Table Lamp into the design.
I love a good challenge, especially one that motivates and inspires me to get creative. This has inspired me to completely revamp our entryway, which I recently showed you here. It was in desperate need of a makeover (in my opinion). I painted the space, built an entryway bench and wall-mounted coat rack, and added some mirrors. Just to refresh your memory, this is what it looked like before (when we first moved in.)
This is what it looks like now.
Next comes the fun part of adding holiday accents and creating a welcoming space for the occasion, especially since it is the first area of our home that guests see. I want our entryway to make a good first impression when people enter our home, and I want it to look festive and pretty for the holidays. I’m thinking some handmade accents, greenery, and definitely some sparkle.
Stay tuned to see what I come up with and how the space comes together. I can’t wait to share it with you! In the meantime, check out the Del Mar Fans Bright Ideas Blog for lots of inspiration. I will be sharing my holiday entryway in a few weeks, and I will need your help sharing it on social media to help me win the challenge!

I love your entryway. What is the paint color of the wall behind your door? I love the lamp and love how you made your entryway so inviting!
