Disclosure: This is a sponsored post on behalf of 3rd Revolution.
I was recently introduced to a project sharing community called 3rd Revolution, and I am very excited to tell you about it. It’s a place where you can not only share your DIY projects and hard work with others, but you can also stay organized and collaborate with other community members.
3rd Revolution allows you to stay organized with an online gallery as well as a project journal. You’re able to track your progress and share your projects from beginning to end, updating as you complete each step. You can share your projects’ stories not only with the 3rd Revolution community, but you can also link to your social media outlets. “Collaborate” by connecting with others, sharing tips and ideas and receiving feedback.
Here’s a shot of my profile page, just to give you an idea of what it’s like:
It’s very easy to add and share projects. I added my reupholstered cane barrel chairs. You just input the name of your project, add a short description, upload a photo, add tags (to make it easier for others to search for it), and enter the start and finish dates.
I love how there’s a huge showcase photo for every project you add.
Also, if you have a blog, it’s very easy to link directly to each specific project post. I added my Wood + Nailhead Headboard tutorial, and left a comment with a link to my original blog post.
I really like that 3rd Revolution is different and unique, and it’s so much more than just a simple project sharing community. Not only can you get inspiration and ideas from other people in the community, but you can also update as you go along, so you don’t have to wait until a project is totally finished in order to post it. People can keep up with your progress, and you can stay organized. The site is easy to use and a great way to share all of the things you make.
Feel free to sign up and give it a try (it’s free), and come find me! Here’s my profile page.
What projects would you add to 3rd Revolution? Let me know what you’ve been working on lately!
