Hello! Today, I’m teaming up with several other blogs for a fun “Signature Style Series” Blog Hop. If you’re visiting from Migonis Home, welcome!
I’m excited to share with you a little collection of things that represent my “signature style.” I consider my style to be a giant mash-up/mixture of everything, honestly.
I would say it’s:
- Eclectic
- Modern mixed with vintage
- Casual but elegant
Here’s a little sampling of stuff I love:
We moved into our new home earlier this year, so it is currently a work in progress, but we’re getting there! I tend to gravitate toward graphic patterns and geometric shaped accents, and I love neutrals mixed with pops of color. I’m also obsessed with gold (although I still love silver too!) and I like a contrast of patterns and textures. I absolutely love mixing “old” with “new.” Right now I really like black and white mixed with neutrals. I’m much more of a “cool” color person (blues, grays) as opposed to warm (reds/oranges). As for my favorite rooms in our home, our current family room is one of my faves, as well as our master bedroom in our old house.
Decorating becomes much easier once you figure out your signature style, and I think a great way to do that is to clip things from magazines or pin rooms or items to Pinterest and then look for the common denominator between each photo. What elements are you drawn to? What specifically do you love about each photo you clipped or pinned, and what do they all have in common? Once you figure out what style you love, you can then apply that to your own home and create a space you love.
You are definitely going to want to stop in tomorrow, as I will be teaming up with a bunch of awesome bloggers to bring you a spectacular “signature style” giveaway with a prize package worth $1200! You won’t want to miss it, I promise!

I love it, Erin! I think you have a perfect mix! And by the way, that geometric light fixture is amazing!

Thanks Jenna! And I’m obsessed with the light fixture too (It’s Pottery Barn Kids) and I’m trying to justify the price to buy it for the nursery but so far I just can’t splurge on it. Maybe I can convince the hubby, we’ll see! Haha.

Hi Erin,
I love all the elements you picked, which is why we’d be friends! Those blues are so bright and pretty, I’m a blue fan myself.
Glad to be on the tour with you 🙂

I love your signature style! I agree. I think neutrals with a pop of color is my style too. I gravitate towards a coastal feel, but I don’t want every single thing in my home to be lighthouses and sailboats. Over the years I have been given a lot of lighthouses and sailboats and I feel I need to rid of a lot of them to update my decor. I like to decorate for the seasons and sometimes my current decor doesn’t mesh well with the seasonal decor. I think if I keep a neutral base and then add pops of color and add a few natural elements and different designs and textures, then I will achieve the look I want for my home. It will be pleasing to the eye and refreshing. Thank you for sharing your ideas and how you achieve them.
