Considering I am about to spend a weekend waddling down the aisle as a bridesmaid at 7 months pregnant at the wedding of one of my very best friends, I thought it would be perfect timing to partner with Target and talk to you about their wedding registry. (P.S. Stay tuned for a fun giveaway at the end of this post!)
Target has a huge selection of items that allow you to organize your home and life together, so if you are getting married, or are recently married, or even if you’ve been married for a million years, their wedding catalog has tons of ideas and inspiration for how you can create a home that you both love as a couple. Thinking back to when we got married over 8 years ago, we definitely could have been more creative with our registry. We covered the basics, but we didn’t really think out of the box at all. Today I’ve chosen an item from Target’s wedding catalog and I want to show you how you can pair it with other items to organize your life in a unique way.
The Target Wedding registry item I chose is the Board Dudes Cork Board Tiles.
You could pair these with a variety of frames and mirrors and create a beautiful gallery wall to display your photos and organize your mementos in a way that allows you to enjoy them all the time. This is a great way to display all of those beautiful wedding photos! You could pin photos or special items like a wedding program or invitation to the cork board tiles and incorporate them onto the gallery wall, or just use them to get organized by pinning notes, to-do lists, grocery lists, etc. This is definitely more creative than shoving most of the wedding photos into an album on a shelf like we did. 🙂
I recently stopped in my local Target to check out the selection. They have so many gallery frames and lots of wall art to choose from. I love their selection, and their prices are great too. You could pick and choose which ones would work well with your decor, coordinating a variety of different types and sizes to group on the wall, and add them to your registry!
Target Weddings encourages you to “Get Into Our Groove” and design a home and life together through your registry. I think displaying photos of memories you’ve shared together is a great place to start! Be sure to check out #TargetWedding on social media for lots of inspiration.

my style has definitely changed since when I got married. But I wish I had been more out of the box with our registry too. I would add decor – like a pretty sunburst mirror, or frame collection or wall decor – or something like that. LOVE Target decor! Wish we would have registered at Target 🙂

When i got married I was so young. I thought crystal and silver were the only things that you could collect and keep for a million years, and they were not my style. So, I didn’t put anything like that on our registery. I too (like Christina) wish I had put a big deocr item or something that I could enjoy for life.
