Ok, I know I just blogged about a lamp redo a few days ago. Truth be told, I enjoyed that project so much that I wanted to do another one! I could probably do a blog that is solely about lamp projects, but I won’t do that to you. I have so much fun transforming them that I may just start giving them away or selling them, because I don’t really need 500 lamps in my house. Anyway, I found another $6 thrift store lamp that I happened to really like, and this time I wanted to paint it chrome.
Here it is in its original glory:

And here it is now:

It wasn’t in bad shape before, I just really thought a chrome finish would go better with my decor. I followed the exact same process as last time, but I used Krylon Metallic Chrome spray paint instead of the Oil-Rubbed Bronze. I may get some wide ribbon in a different color for the shade, rather than the thin black ribbon it came with, but not sure yet. I think this pretty thing will sit on my new dresser that I wrote about a couple days ago. Of course I will post pics in the hopefully not-too-distant future.

I just love what you have done with this lamp. I never knew you could do so much with an old lamp. Love It!
