I’m really excited to share this with you all! I was recently contacted by a company called Celebrations.com, and I instantly knew that my readers would love it. It’s a brand new monthly box subscription service, perfect for anyone who loves crafting or DIY projects. I was given the opportunity to receive October’s Celebrate Crate, and it was so much fun!
Basically, as a subscriber you will receive a box full of craft supplies each month to create whatever you want. You can expect anything from creative baking tools to crafting and DIY materials, to printables, to party supplies. Each crate also comes with links to ideas on Celebrations.com using the supplies to help inspire you. Check out their site for more info!
What you need to know:
- The crate ships for $20 per month (including shipping).
- You can find inspiration for how to use each item in the crate on Celebrations.com. (There’s a QR code inside each box directing you to the webpage.)
- Celebrate Crate is for adults, but you don’t have to be crafty or a DIY expert! Anyone can have fun with this. Their goal is to inspire you and introduce you to new craft ideas, ways to decorate your home, fun baking projects or creative party ideas and games.
They were also nice enough to send me this adorable Itsy Bitsy Spider Flower Cake from their parent company, 1-800-Flowers.com. I may not enjoy real spiders, but this was super cute!
Now, want to see what I did with some of my Celebrate Crate goodies?
First of all, I had lots of fun making cute skull and crossbones ice with the “Bone Chillers” ice cube tray. My boys were very excited about this.
I added some of the items into my Halloween Vignette display. I used the eye balls as vase filler and I thought the greeting card was so cute that I framed it as art.
As soon as my sons saw the eyeballs in the vase, they instantly started begging to play with them. I gave them each two and they kept coming back to ask for “more eyeballs please!”. This can’t be normal.
I haven’t used the drink spout or glow in the dark paint yet, but I’ll probably let my boys use the paint on their pumpkins. For more ideas, be sure to check out Celebrations.com!
What would you do with this box full of goodies? Do your kids ask to play with fake eyeballs too? No? Didn’t think so.
Disclosure: I received this for free to review. All opinions are my own.
I love the skull ice, perfect for my halloween tea ice..great blog.
Thank you for sharing – love the site.
