Hope you all had a wonderful holiday! I know that technically December isn’t over yet, but I don’t have any more projects planned for the month since I’ve taken some time off for the holidays, so I thought I’d go ahead and post this recap now. If you’ve missed anything over the past few weeks, here is your chance to catch up.
Projects on the blog during December:
1. I shared before and after photos of our Living Room/Office Makeover.
2. I discussed the first piece of furniture I ever refinished, and shared its latest makeover.
3. My boys decorated our sweet little Christmas tree, complete with Spiderman and Batman ornaments.
4. I created some easy DIY Mason Jar Lid Garland.
5. I shared my Holiday Gift Guide for the DIY-Lover, complete with a list of my top 20 picks.
6. Using my glass paint and stencils, along with some cute gift wrap, I created Framed Holiday Art.
7. I made Mason Jar Lid Ornaments – fun and easy!
8. I made a Monogrammed Glass Ornament filled with sheet music.
9. Yet another Mason Jar Lid project (I know, there were lots of those this month!). This time, Mason Jar Lid Gift Tags.
Also on the blog in December:
- I introduced the new Lamps Plus color+plus lighting collection. So many fun colors!
- One of my lucky blog readers won a RYOBI Ultimate Combo Kit. That’s $459 worth of tools!
- I shared my response/tribute regarding the tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut.
- I contributed an article to Home Made Simple, where I shared ideas for Winter Window Decorations.
I’ll be posting a Year In-Review in a few days, highlighting some favorite posts of 2012. If you’re a new reader, this will be a great opportunity for you to catch up. If you’ve been reading all along, it will be a fun little refresher of how this blog has progressed over time and what has happened in my home since last January when I began. Look for that very soon!
How did you spend your holidays? Do you have lots of projects on your “to do” list for 2013? I sure do!
