It’s time for the Thrifty Style series! If you’re not familiar with this series, it’s where I team up with some amazing blog friends to show you how we’ve styled different thrifted pieces in our homes. This month, I’m featuring a vintage fan I found at one of my favorite Atlanta-area spots. It’s called the Canton Street Antique Market in Roswell, Georgia, and I found it a few years ago during one of our Atlanta Blogger meetups. It’s currently on top of our dresser/buffet in our dining room.
I love mixing old with new, modern with vintage. It creates an eclectic look that I love.
Plus, I love incorporating thrifted pieces (and heirlooms too) because they are unique and not necessarily something I see in every house I visit. I like the fact that our home is a reflection of us, and things that we love.
You can find out more about our dining room makeover here, and the framed maps here.
Be sure to check out all of the other Thrifty Style Team’s posts too!
Do you love decorating with vintage pieces too? What’s your favorite thrifted find you’ve ever snagged? Let me know in the comments!

Hi Erin, I love your blog! I also really love your style of using vintage with new. I do the same thing. I am in the process of starting my own blog, and would like to somewhat imitate your style, because I like it so much. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. I am also excited that you are in Atlanta, as I am just outside HOTlanta myself.
It would be fun to meet sometime.
Hopefully my blog will be up and operating very soon, hope to see you at: . Please keep up the wonderful posts, I really do like them.

If you’d like to be added to our Atlanta Bloggers group, just send me an email (erinspainblog at gmail) and I’d be happy to add you. We have local meetups and events (in fact, we have one scheduled for tomorrow!).

I love vintage fans but I’ve never been able to find one I like that’s affordable – yours is perfect!
