Holiday Gift Giving with Groupon: Part 2

I recently shared with you the surprise date night that I gave my husband as an early Christmas present, and with the help of Groupon I was able to give gifts to a couple other people on our list this year too. My brother in-law absolutely loves football, so we were really excited to be able to give him tickets to the ACC Championship game in his hometown of Charlotte, NC. There was a great Groupon deal available, so I was able to get enough tickets for him to take a couple of friends with him.

There were multiple seating options so we upgraded him to the best seats we could find. Instead of just giving the ticket voucher on its own, I decided it would be cute to present it with an actual football too.

I love the idea of giving someone an “experience” as a gift, rather than just a package to open. (Don’t get me wrong, those are fun too!) But an experience allows them to make memories and have a great time, so I’m happy to give that type of gift instead.
