You all may (or may not) remember the “Any Season Wreath” I made for our front door a few months ago. If not, check out that post here. I opted to make a more colorful summertime wreath similar in style, this time as a birthday gift for my sister in-law.
I really like the bright oranges and reds I used for this one. I may have to make another one for myself! I used fabric rosettes made out of fat quarter fabric bundles, and this time instead of burlap I opted for jute twine. I also made a couple of larger ruffle-y flowers just to add more texture into the mix. I got the grapevine wreath at the fabric store, and after making my fabric flowers (which can be a bit time consuming, but luckily you can multi-task by watching your favorite show at the same time) I just hot glued them to the wreath. I painted the little wooden letter with craft paint and hot glued that on too.
How do you decorate your front door for summer? Leave a comment and let me know!
I love this! It’s so bright and cheerful! Great job!
Thank you Betsy!
This turned out great! The colors are so fun! Erin, I might just have to make one of these so I have something on my door for summer. 🙂
Thanks Angie!
Erin, it’s so pretty! I just love it!!! I need to get on the ball with this whole wreath thing!

Thank you, Jessica!
Pretty! Love the colors–they’re perfect for summer.
I’ve sadly neglected the door so far this summer. I have a few grapevine wreaths stowed away that I’ll have to get out now. Having a wreath on the door is such a nice welcoming touch for visitors.
