If you missed it last week, I shared some photos of our snowy holiday in Indiana. Today, I am sharing a high resolution free printable download of my “Indiana Winter Wonderland” photo, just in case you want to commemorate the 2012 blizzard-like conditions of the North. Or, in case you just want some free wall art. It’s actually a color photo – it really was just that gray outside! I like that the gray skies gave the photo a vintage feel. I’ve also made it available for free in Black and White (Very similar to the original, the tones are just a bit different), and Sepia, which you can find below.
The photo above was taken a couple days after Christmas out the window of my mom’s house in Muncie, Indiana. This is her front yard before a couple of Southern boys were let loose to create “Frosty the Snowblob.” I printed this photo on cardstock (sort of vintage Christmas card-esque) and I’ll probably frame it to go with my holiday decor for next year. As for what you will do with it, the choice is yours. You don’t have to be a Northerner to enjoy a little winter wonderland this time of year.
P.S. I’m totally not a professional photographer, I just enjoy these photos because they bring back fun memories of our holiday, and I wanted to share!
Did you have a White Christmas where you live? Our boys were thrilled to play in the snow since we don’t get to experience it often in the South.
Such a beautiful picture you captured! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Lia!
Erin, the pictures are beautiful. Living way down in South Carolina, we don’t get a lot of snow either, so I really love to look at it and take pictures when it does happen. Thanks for sharing and for the download!
Thanks Lynn! I’m glad you like the pictures!
Beautiful photo Erin! There is nothing better than a fresh snowfall around Christmas. It’s quiet outside and so peaceful. I didn’t have snow at the beach, but remember the many fresh snowfalls from Minnesota winters when I lived there. Something I miss every year around the holidays.
Thanks Angie! It was definitely a treat for our boys to be able to experience a white Christmas!
Erin, This is a great picture of Bill and Carol’s yard.
Thank you Pam!
Lovely thanks for sharing. We didn’t have a white Christmas over here in England but it’s snowing now, very heavily!
Thank you. Enjoy the snow!
