We had our monthly Atlanta Bloggers meet-up over the weekend, and it was great to see some new faces there! Can you believe our group has almost 50 members now? About 10 of us attended the meet-up, and we had a great time at lunch. A few of us went shopping afterwards, and we ended up at the Canton Street Antique Market in Roswell, GA — one of my favorite places. I was very excited about my vintage find (aka my early birthday present to myself).
I found this cool antique desk fan from the 1930s, and I decided it would be perfect for our vintage-modern office/living room. It’s sitting on top of this dresser. While I won’t be actually turning it on due to obvious safety concerns, I think it has such a unique sculptural quality to it and adds some interest to the room.
Have you found anything cool while thrifting lately?

I love the fan! I actually found a similar one in silver a few weeks ago. Old fans and old phones…two things I can’t pass up!

Thanks! Old phones are cool too. And I also love vintage cameras – still looking for one of those!

I am loving these old fans that are cropping up!!! Might have to get to a thrift shop and snag one before they are all gone 🙂
