I do a lot of DIY projects, and therefore I make a lot of messes. A LOT of messes. I’ve mentioned several times that my garage looks like an episode of Hoarders, and I am not kidding. My husband hasn’t been able to park in there for months, and it’s all my fault. (Cue violins.) Luckily, I was recently given the opportunity to review a product that has proven to make my life a whole lot easier, and my husband a whole lot happier. No, he hasn’t gotten his parking spot back yet, but we are one step closer thanks to this RIDGID Wet/Dry Vac.
I do a lot of sanding and painting, so there is always a thick layer of dust and debris covering my garage floor. I tested out my new little friend just to see how he would handle the mess.
Easy-peasy! This thing seriously makes cleaning up so much easier. I had recently sanded a table and was in the process of painting it, but the debris on the floor kept getting stuck to the wet paint. Now I can just zip over it with this wet/dry vac and get rid of the mess between sanding and painting. Plus, now I can actually clean up between finishing one project and starting a new one.
|Before. Yes, my garage looked like that. Shh…|
|After. Much better, but I still have a long way to go as far as organizing!|
This vac packs some serious suction power. It’s also great for vacuuming out the car, which is something I definitely need to do more often. I haven’t tried vacuuming up any liquids but I’m sure I’ll have a spill at some point and this will come in handy for that too.
This particular product is a 3-gallon Wet/Dry Vac and is available online exclusively at Home Depot. Here’s where you can find it: RIDGID Wet/Dry Vac. At just under $50, it’s a great deal. Clean-up is easy and it’s light-weight. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who loves home projects or any other activity that may create messes that your basic everyday vacuum can’t handle.
