(Note: I am currently enroute to the HGTV Dream Home which I can’t wait to share with you soon! Follow along on Instagram for sneak peeks.)
We had a great trip to my home state of Indiana for Thanksgiving, and as soon as we got home we hit the ground running with the holiday decorating. I love decking everything out for Christmas! I’m happy to be participating in the Tree Classics‘ Housewalk along with several other bloggers this week — check out the full lineup at the bottom of this post, and thank you to Tree Classics and my friend Rhoda of Southern Hospitality for including me. We each received a tree to decorate, and I chose the 7.5′ Classic Noble Fir Snap Tree with clear lights. I absolutely love it!
We decided to put this one up in our sunroom since there are high ceilings and lots of windows, and it just seemed like the perfect spot for a Christmas tree. (We have 3 trees total, and I’ll be sharing the rest of our home tour next week, so stay tuned!) This tree was unbelievably easy to assemble. It literally took about two minutes. You just snap the tree into the base, tilt it up, attach the top and you’re done. You can also store it on its base, which is on wheels so it’s easy to stow away. It seriously does not get any easier or more convenient.
I added magnolia branches from the tree in our yard which I spray painted gold. I also bought a package of plain white feathers at the craft store and pinched hooks to the tip and hung them like ornaments. With the exception of a few, most of the bulbs on the tree are shatterproof (a necessity in this household).
Tree Classics sent a gorgeous set of glass ornaments. I chose the silver and gold, and they come in a variety of shapes. I especially love this one.
Gotta have a nighttime photo too!

Thanks, Sheila! 🙂
Love the night photo, Erin! The tree just glows beautifully, and that radiant white tree skirt you used certainly helped. I’m glad you found the Classic Noble Fir Snap Tree easy to set up. For the Snap Trees, we really wanted them to be a marriage of form and function, so knowing that it made tree setup and decorating easier for you makes us extremely happy!
I can’t wait to see your other trees!
Thanks so much, Sarah! We really love the tree. It’s beautiful and was seriously a breeze to set up!
