New Vintage End Tables & Everything But The House

July 27, 2015 By Erin Spain 1 Comment

Disclosure: This post is sponsored by Everything But The House, but all opinions are my own.

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, then you know that I absolutely love the concept of Everything But The House — an online estate sale website that allows you to go thrifting from the comfort of your own home. All bids start at $1, they ship if you aren’t local, and if you are local to the sale you’re bidding on, then you can pick up your items at a designated time and place which cuts costs big time. They’re now in Atlanta, and I’m always keeping an eye on their sales to see what vintage goodies I might be able to snatch up. I recently scored a pair of Mid Century style vintage end tables, and I love them!

They’re in great condition, and I like them as they are so I won’t be refinishing them. I especially love the brass details and hardware.

I can’t decide where to put them though. The photos above show one in my “mom cave” aka living room/office.

Or we could use one (or both) in our family room.

I’ve even considered using them as bedside tables in our room but I think they might be a smidge too short for that.

I would love to hear your input! Where do you think they should end up? Should I split them up and leave one in the mom cave and one in the family room? Or both in the same room, and if so which room? Ahhh.. decisions, decisions.

I love incorporating old/vintage pieces into a space and combining them with newer things to create a more “collected” looking space. Everything But The House is the perfect source for vintage items, and you can find amazing deals.

Check out Everything But The House online, or connect with them on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.

So tell me, what types of items are you always on the lookout for when you shop thrift stores or estate sales?
