We’re making some progress in the nursery and I’m hoping things will come together somewhat quickly from here on out. I mentioned the other day that I painted the nursery, and now we have a new rug for the space! I absolutely love it.
It’s the Homespun Nelina Trellis Grey Rug from Rugs USA. You may remember that I included this rug in my nursery mood board a while back. (A few plans have changed since I created this mood board, but you get the general idea.)
I love the color and pattern, and the fact that our child can grow with it since it’s not really “babyish” — or someday we could use it in a different space since it’s neutral.
“Someone” in the family already approves of it.
We all know that Indy can’t stand to be left out of a photo shoot.
Add “rug model” to her resume.

Now, the fun part of the nursery makeover starts — putting furniture together (my husband has the privilege of this part of the job) and decorating! More to come soon.
